„A great deal of things still needs to be achieved, which makes for a wonderful future!“
Jochen Klüppel successfully completed his studies in economics at the universities of Münster, Paris, Leipzig (HHl) and Phoenix. He was the best in his graduating class of 1998 and a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. He began his career at McKinsey & Company in Hamburg and Palo Alto where he mainly focussed on and dealt with the strategic issues of media and internet companies.
Giving full rein to his entrepreneurial streak, he became founder and chairman of 100world.media AG, which he advanced to market leader in the internet marketing of special interests sites before the webside portfolio was sold to Tomorrow Fokus AG.
Since 2002 he has been active with Grazia Equity GmbH in discovering and developing the market leaders of the future. In focus are companies with high potential from the media, Internet and software sectors. At the moment Jochen Klüppel is representing the company at Adconion, Moviepilot, Mister Spex, MySportGroup, Urbanara, Statista and Immatics.
In private, he is interested in the ski slopes and wavy seas of this world, enthusiastic about literature, films (refer to preferences at www.moviepilot.de) and theater and, if the occasion arises, he can give some tips on popular hot spots in Zurich, New York and Berlin.
